This is a huge misfortune as I have witnessed countless people who have wanted to buy and play this amazing game. These numbers will keep decreasing until there's no one left. One Xbox one you can rarely find a full match. On average, less than 30 people play it a day.
On the PC version, there have been only 45 players at peak during the whole month of August. We Transformers fans have been loving this game since its release and seeing it slowly die is heartbreaking. As a result, War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron was removed from all digital stores and multiplayer has gone extremely inactive due to the lack of new players.
Unfortunately, Hasbro’s contract with Activision to publish Transformers games has expired in January 2018. Released in August 2012, High Moon Studios’ Transformers: War for Cybertron and it's successor, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is often considered as the best Transformer games by its community.
